IRS Form 990 - Introduction and Purpose
The Form 990 is an annual information return that non profits file with the IRS. This public document provides information that allows the IRS to determine whether the organization continues to fill the requirements for tax-exempt status. The 990 Form includes an income and expense statement; a functional expense allocation; additional information about the organization's programs, relationships with officers, directors, and key employees; and compliance with the applicable requirements of 501 (c) organizations.
